Based on the world-famous book by Judy Blume.

Meet nine-year-old Peter Hatcher, whose life would be perfect if it weren't for Fudge, his impossible little brother. Fudge seems to get away with everything, whether he’s throwing a tantrum at the shoe store, acting like a bird on the jungle gym and knocking out his two front teeth, or scribbling all over Peter's homework! It's enough to make him feel like a fourth grade nothing. When Peter's beloved pet turtle disappears, he just knows that Fudge is behind it. This is the last straw – how can he get his parents to pay attention to him for a change? Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing is a hilarious look at family life and the troubles that can only be caused by a younger sibling.

A charming musical based on the best-selling children’s books about a boy and his huge canine buddy. Moving from the city to a new house in the country can be tough. Just ask Henry. He misses Annie, his cousin and best friend, and can't find a playmate in his new neighborhood. Luckily Mom and Dad buy him a great big, slobbery dog named Mudge to join him on all kinds of adventures. It looks like Henry and Mudge will be best friends forever, until Annie arrives for a visit. Will Annie come between a boy and his dog? Can a kid have two best friends? Never fear! At TYKEs, friendship always prevails!

Back by popular demand for the 8th year: the Missoula Children’s Theatre Experience! Now better than ever – during February break!
Kids can enjoy the show in two ways: by watching it—or starring in it!
Once again, TYKEs presents an incredible concept in children’s theatre—full-scale musicals with sets, costumes, make-up and props, starring up to 64 local kids in each play—all within a week! We rehearse Monday through Friday and perform the show that Saturday! Missoula Children’s Theatre has been touring all over the world for more than 30 years. They come to town with everything needed to put on a play—except the cast. Children are well-rehearsed throughout the week, learning lines, songs and choreography for this full-length musical. The cost is $165 (non-refundable) for each week-long experience and includes one free show ticket. Children do not need to audition in order to participate!
Rehearsals are Monday through Friday, February 17 to 21. Rehearsals run from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., with snack breaks. (Younger kids’ rehearsal times are shorter.) Plus, the JCC is delighted to offer our Treasure Island actors a special "vacation camp" before and after rehearsals. Fun activities include arts and crafts, theater games, sports, swimming, and more.
Registrations for children– ages 5 and up – began in September. Please note: THIS PROGRAM IS NOW SOLD OUT. We are currently accepting names on our waiting list.
